This adorably detailed, hand sculpted polymer clay mummy is sipping on a great cup of morning coffee. I sculpted him and all the little beans out of pigmented polymer clay and decorated with chalk powders. The mummy character is about 3-1/2" high, and sculpted from a semi-flexible polymer clay, making it more durable. The sign he sits under measures 6-1/2" high and 5" wide.
The very cute vintage-looking sign is a premade painted MDF tabletop sign, that I embellished with a strip of sheer gold ribbon, and polymer clay coffee beans I made for this.
The idea for this came to me when I saw a meme that said, "I want my coffee so dark it will wake my ancestors." I thought a mummy is a lot of ancestors, so the coffee must be good! For me, making this original, humorous, and fun, one-of-a-kind collectible miniature figurine decor was such fun, knowing that it will be an irresistible conversation piece for anyone who visits your coffee nook or coffee bar…and will definitely provide many years of smiles!
My clay sculptures and handmade miniatures were baked, then glued onto the display base. It will be shipped in a well wrapped box, with lots of padding, so it won't shift during shipment.

Care instructions: Some kinds of polymer clay can often be fairly fragile, so be careful not to knock it over, drop it, or hit it against anything. If you do have a break, a CA (super or crazy type) glue works great and bonds well.
Also, it’s best to keep out of direct sun, and away from direct heat sources, and unless otherwise noted, should not be kept outside. They may be wiped with a soft, damp cloth if cleaning is needed. Not a toy…this is a OOAK decorative collectible figurine meant for display purposes. If treated properly it will last for many, many, many fun years and become a unique and beloved heirloom.
